Jeremy D'Entremont, New England's foremost lighthouse authority, is historian for the American Lighthouse Foundation, founder of Friends of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouses, owner and tour operator for New England Lighthouse Tours, and webmaster of New England Lighthouses: A Virtual Guide at www.newenglandlighthouses.net. He has been researching, writing, and photographing the lighthouses of New England since the mid-1980s. Jeremy has written more than a dozen books and more than 300 magazine articles in publications including Lighthouse Digest and The Keeper's Log, and he is the author of the "lighthouse" entry in the World Book Encyclopedia. His photos have been published in many magazines, including Soundings, Offshore, and Captain's Guide.

Great review from well known lighthouse enthusiast. Great details on how to get to these lighthouses that if I had this book a couple years ago it would have saved me from getting lost a couple times.
Excellent book, loaded with details, directions, etc. An invaluable resource, particular for those visiting lighthouses in the New England area for the 1st time.I've always preferred printed books, but I'm starting to lean towards e-books so I can carry a bunch on my tablet and lighten my load. Unfortunately it doesn't look like this is available as an e-book (Kindle).
Love this book. Helps so much when we are in Maine and mass and nh to find lighthouses and to know which ones we can get at or not as it tells you which I love. I'll def keep buying these books.
